Endowment funds help provide a base for congregational needs. Each fund gives a percentage of its assets to CBT each year, thereby providing a stream of income to meet a particular need. All of our endowment funds can be funded with gifts during one’s lifetime (cash, appreciated securities, retirement accounts, etc.), or with a gift in one’s will or estate plans. To donate to any of these funds, please talk with either the Endowment or Funds Development chair. The CBT office at 856-983-8090 can help connect you to these people.

• Beacon Fund for Dues Scholarships provides help to reduce the dues obligation of families needing financial help.
• CBT Repair and Replace Fund provides an annual distribution to help cover the cost of building maintenance including repairs and replacement as well as giving us the additional availability of funds, in the form of a loan, to finance larger expenditures as they are needed.
• Life and Legacy Endowment Fund helps ensure the long-term future of our synagogue and supplements the general fund of the congregation by naming CBT as a beneficiary in your will or estate plan, and/or providing an annual distribution.
• Gift of Israel Fund supplements expenses for Gift of Israel program participants.
