Gan Program

Gan Program

We offer a free monthly program  geared to children ages 3-5.  This is a taste of TLC (Tikvah learning community) where children are introduced  to Jewish topics and exposes our children to the message and meaning behind important Jewish concepts. The class covers the celebration of Jewish holidays, with an emphasis on the symbols and blessings that help us welcome Shabbat on Friday night. They learn to recognize the importance of the Torah: A Special Book, they explore the very first stories of the Bible (Creation, Noah, & the Tower of Babel). The introduction of the Hebrew aleph-bet begins. The children experience music, art, story time, and an opportunity for children and families to meet and make new friends. Our Gan program is led by Ms. Michele Meyer, the Director of Education.

Monthly Tot Shabbat

We invite families with young children to join us for a kid-friendly  Shabbat experience. Together, we learn and recite the blessings, hear a  story, sing, dance, and pray. This takes place monthly on Fridays from  6:30-7:15 pm, for our youngest children through the 2nd grade. (Older siblings welcome!)
