Religious School (TLC)

Religious School (TLC)

Our Tikvah Learning Center (TLC) provides educational and social experiences for students from early childhood through post–Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

Religious school meets on Sunday mornings from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. A typical school day includes a minyan led by our rabbi, Hebrew instruction, holiday exploration, and learning about Jewish history. Throughout the year, we wrap up Sunday mornings with special activities, such as cooking, music, or community social action projects. Students also participate in a monthly Shira (music) program, building a rich repertoire of songs that help them connect with Jewish culture and tradition.

Several times a year, families are invited to join their children for special interactive projects like challah baking or tallit decoration.

Older & Post–B’Mitzvah Students
In addition to Sunday morning instruction, our older students can participate in the community-wide Kesher program. Post–B’Mitzvah students are also invited to gather once a month on Sunday mornings with Rabbi Gottfried.

Our Philosophy
We believe Jewish learning is most meaningful when built in partnership with families and the broader community. Together, we foster a vibrant, connected Jewish community within our synagogue and beyond.
