We come together in joy and in song on Friday evenings to welcome the Sabbath. Rabbi Nathan and Cantor Lebovic blend familiar and new tunes, poetry, and timely readings into a spiritual and uplifting worship Service. Join us after Services as congregants mingle and nosh. Services are often enhanced on Friday evenings with special programming from Adult Education, Men’s Club, Sisterhood, Social Action and our Hebrew School students. Our B’nai Mitzvah also help to lead services as part of their Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebration. Please see the Events section of our website for the Service time.
Saturdays at 9:30 am
Join us on Shabbat morning for joyous and participatory services. First time? You are sure to be offered an Aliyah to the Torah, or another honor. Torah discussions are always informative and interactiv. Often, we celebrate life cycle events such as B’nai Mitzvah, Aufrufs, and Baby Namings. Shabbat Yoga occurs periodically in another room. Most weeks, there is a Kiddush luncheon following the service. Congregants and guests are encouraged to stay, nosh, and schmooze during Kiddush lunch.
Saturdays at Sundown
Join us for our weekly virtual Havdalah gathering. Grab your twisted candle, spice box and Kiddush Cup with grape juice, if you have, or just join us without these items if you don’t! Say goodbye to Shabbat with your CBT family and have a chance to share what you are looking forward to this week. You won’t want to miss CBT member Tema Steele on violin. All are welcome! Please see the Events section of our website for the Service time.
