For the last 30 or so years, Congregation Beth Tikvah has been a community of people who want to broaden their links to Judaism within a small and progressive congregation. We are one of the smallest Conservative congregations in the area, by choice. When you come to services or participate in the wide range of activities that CBT offers, you’ll quickly find that you are not a stranger in a large crowd, but a member of a warm, accepting congregational family.
For those considering joining, and for our own members, this website is set up as a guide to CBT’s resources and activities. And those not sure about why they should even join a synagogue may find this page helpful.
As you browse through the website, you will find information on a variety of CBT subjects, from our Membership types, and Hebrew School enrollments, to our special Groups and Activities as well as a helpful guide to Shabbat times at the bottom of this page. If you are interested in becoming part of a progressive Conservative synagogue in the South Jersey area, we may be just what you are looking for.
Please contact us with any questions or comments you may have - we would love to hear from you. We pride ourselves on being proactive and responsive to prospective member inquiries. If you would like to tour our synagogue, or if you have questions for Rabbi Gans, please let us know. Our community looks forward to welcoming you and yours!
